Enhancing the horizon: a bioclimatic pergola for Cantine Fina

We are proud to present one of Lombardo Italian Villa Design‘s latest projects: the creation of a bioclimatic pergola for the terrace of Cantine Fina, a landmark of Sicilian winemaking excellence.

A tailor-made project

The dream of the owners of Cantine Fina was to create a large terrace from which to admire the splendid view of the Stagnone Islands and the Egadi Islands. A cozy and functional space, able to offer comfort to guests in all seasons and shelter from the elements.

Our answer was a self-supporting bioclimatic pergola with a length of 960 cm, designed down to the smallest detail to blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape and the style of the winery.

Comfort, installation and other benefits

Thanks to the adjustable slats, our pergola naturally regulates light and ventilation, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment in every season.

For added privacy and protection from the elements, we have integrated four “Click Zip” zi pper curtains that effectively block wind and protect against insects.

The pergola blades are also equipped with LED spotlights with a warm light of 3000K and an insulation system to insulate against rain noise.

This solution combines design and ecology, enhancing the guest experience and contributing to a lower energy footprint.

Even more important: the installation is classified as a “Free Building” activity, allowing anyone to install the pergola without the need for building permits.

Design that enhances the territory

The pergola thus becomes an integral part of the structure of Cantine Fina, offering guests a new space for tastings and moments of conviviality surrounded by the beauty of nature and the splendid horizon.

Conclusion

Whether it is outdoor or interior design, every project by Lombardo Italian Villa Design aims to combine aesthetics, functionality and place identity. Cantine Fina’s bioclimatic pergola is proof of this: architecture designed to enhance both the spaces and the people who live in them.
